Biketoberfest 2013

Naomi Loomis and her husband rode their bikes to Biketoberfest 2013.

Naomi Loomis is a frequent traveler, visiting locations across the United States and overseas with her husband and their kids.

She has traveled by air, boat, yacht, and even motorcycle. Additionally, she enjoys attending motorcycling events in and around Florida with her husband.

Earlier this year, Stan and Naomi Loomis attended Biketoberfest 2013 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Held for the 21st time, this year’s Biketoberfest event occurred October 17-20th, providing thousands of riders with an opportunity to take part in motorcycling themed activities throughout the city.

Attendees were able to enjoy the area’s famous beaches and perfect weather while riding to the next motorcycle show or rally. Additionally, Naomi Loomis and other attendees were able to complete guided tours and participate in special biker themed activities. Events included racing on Daytona International Speedway, listening to live music, and viewing displays from major manufacturers showing off the latest and greatest models of popular bikes. Each event took place in one of three locations throughout the city:

Main Street: Visitors began at the welcome tent, where they were able to learn more about the weekend’s events. Naomi Loomis and other attendees then sampled famous food, listened to live music, and watched bikers arrive throughout the day at restaurants such as Dirty Harry’s, Humphrey’s & Son, and Boot Hill Saloon.

Beachside: This region hosts the Boardwalk Classic Bike Show, a competition that awards trophies and cash prizes to the riders with the best looking bikes. Attendees were also able to relax on the beach, eat fresh seafood, or tour the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse.

Beach Street / Fairview Avenue / Ballough Road: Multiple motorcycle exhibits were set up on these three streets, including BMW Ducati Triumph of Daytona, Harley-Davidson’s Museum Store, Carl’s Speed Shop race museum, and ROAR (a special event tailored exclusively to female bikers).
